History: Arya lived in Winterfell a member of House Stark. Life was peaceful, and she was happy. That all changed when the Royal Family came and named her father Hand of the King. Arya accompanied her father to King's Landing where she met sword-master, Syrio Forel, who taught her the Water Dance style. Once the conflict between Stark and Lannister came to a head, Arya lost both her teacher, and her father in one fair swoop.
Arya was taken by Night's Watch recruiter, Yoren, out of King's Landing and was disguised as a boy. There, she met Gendry, Hot Pie, and Lommy. The group were attacked by Gold Cloaks searching for Gendry, and Lommy is killed. The others were brought to Harrenhal where Arya served as cup bearer to Lord Tywin. With the assistance of Jaqen H'ghar, a murderer she saved from a fire, Arya was able to get out of Harrenhal with the others, and they traveled together until going off on their own way.
For a time Arya traveled with the Hound, a man she hated due to him killing her friend, Mycah. Sandor kept her safe in the hopes that he can earn a ransom from a member of her family, but every time she got close to a single relative, it was only in time to witness their death. Arya's heart grew harder the longer she traveled on the road, and learned to kill more effectively with the help of the Hound. Sandor was later defeated by Brienne of Tarth, and Arya left him for dead.
Arya traveled to the Free City of Braavos, and came to the House of Black and White to learn how to become a faceless, but her unwillingness to part with her identity made it impossible for her to get the training she needed to avenge her family. An opportunity to eliminate Meryn Trant, the man responsible for killing Syrio, arrived, and she took it. She stole one of the faces the assassins used, and sneaked in close enough to kill him. The Many-Faced God punished her by taking away her sight.
Arya continued her training until she regained her sight and then decided to spare the life of a target and was followed by the Waif that never liked her to begin with. The Waif attempted to kill her, but Arya used her advantage of being blind to fight her in the dark and kill her. Arya then left the faceless men and returned home where she reunited with her surviving family and assisted in the defeat of the White Walkers slaying the Ice King and then following Jon to King's Landing that saw the death of Cersei Lannister and her brother Bran becoming king while Sansa became Queen of the North. Arya then decided to explore the other side of Westeros when a dimensional gateway opened up and tugged her inside leading her to her present location. Jenesis.
