History: Naomi Hurt was born and raised as an only child in Kansas City, Kansas, and met her best friend, Ayen Matthews, at a young age. The two hung out, played baseball and various other sports together, and teamed up to play multiplayer in video games when they couldn't play outside. She was one of the first outside of Ayen's family to learn about his mutant powers and remained his biggest support outside of his family.
Now as an adult, Naomi works for the Kansas City Star as a reporter and constantly write articles supporting the mutant population because of her relationship with Ayen who made her fond of mutants and respect them as a people. Even if her articles receive much criticism from those who oppose mutant equal rights. She continues to stay in contact and hang out with Ayen into their adult life and they will always be Gamers for Life. But her life would change forever when a dimensional rift sucked her into the world of Jenesis.
