Special Abilities: Saturn's primary role is one of death and rebirth. Through use of the Silence Glaive she can destroy an entire planet by simply lowering the blade to the ground. After the destruction everything will be set to begin anew and she herself will be reborn with the rest. It is an ability she only uses when there is no other alternative and it is why she is so largely feared by even her own comrades.
Like all her fellow Senshi, when she's transformed her natural abilities are increased giving her 2x the strength of an average human, 2x the endurance and 3x the speed and agility. Although they can't regenerate their healing factor is also increased in this form and magic is used to conceal their identity from the public despite the lack of an actual disguise.
In her civilian form Hotaru is capable of healing small to moderate wounds with the touch of her hands.

History: Born into royalty, Hotaru was named the heir of Saturn and its guardian protector at a young age, being given the Titan Castle from the Queen of the Moon, Queen Serenity, which orbited around the planet alongside the moons so she could watch over it and her part of the solar system for the rest of her days. She never was the most social person around, she was quite reserved and kept to herself. In fact, her only friends came in the form of her guardians: Sailor Dione, Sailor Enceladus, Sailor Lapetus, Sailor Mimas, Sailor Phoebe, Sailor Rhea, Sailor Tethys and Sailor Titan.
After a battle against a dark being known only as Pharaoh 90 ended with Saturn using her powers against him, resulting in casualties on both side as her powers proved to be unstable, Queen Serenity, believing Saturn to have grown too powerful to be used more than sparingly, sealed her away with a crystal called the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou on the surface of the planet Saturn to where she would only awaken when her powers were needed again. When the era of the Silver Millennium, the era of peace, finally came to the end by the intervention of the Dark Moon Kingdom, that time would come. She awoke and traveled to the earth's moon with a magic barrier around her body protecting her from the vacuums of space in order to complete her duty as the Soldier of Death. Destroying what was left of the Moon in front of the Outer Sols and fulfilling her duty, but that would not be the end.
Saturn was reborn on Earth as Hotaru Tomoe. The daughter of Doctor Tomoe. In a lab accident that killed her mother, Hotaru was recovered by her father and with the help of a returning Pharaoh 90, Hotaru was saved and left with cyborg parts and various health problems. In the years to past Hotaru would make a friend in the form of Chibiusa and become an enemy of the Outer Sols, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, who wished not for her Sailor Senshi form to be awakened in fear that it would destroy the Earth.
There were two beings inside of Hotaru. Mistress Nine and Sailor Saturn. Mistress Nine took control making her older and fighting against the Sailor Senshi. Eventually, Saturn was awakened and defeated Pharaoh 90 once again this time being reborn as a mere babe and taken into the custody of Haruka and Michiru. When her powers were needed again, Hotaru grew up and awakened a new form for the Outer Sols to fight a new enemy. Facing Galaxia and dying, but being brought back by the wish of Usagi/Sailor Moon. After that Hotaru lived in peace with the rest of the Outer Sols until one day a dimensional rift pulled here away from her home and brought her to a new planet. Jenesis.
